Applications now open for beautification grants

Applications are now open for Cardinia Shire Council's 2022-23 Beautification Grant program.

The program provides community groups and individuals with funds for to undertake landscape enhancement projects on public open space.

Community groups and individuals are invited to apply for dollar-for-dollar grants of up to $2,000 for projects that aim to enhance and beautify local open space areas across the Shire.

Priority is given to projects that:

  • are driven by community groups
  • improve the appearance of green, public open space on Council owned or managed land
  • are in areas frequently accessed by the public such parks, recreation reserves, town centres, and around Council buildings such as community centres and halls
  • are in line with priorities identified in township strategies, landscape master plans, and other strategic Council documents.

Applications close 5pm on Monday 10 October 2022
