Arson investigation North Adelaide, South Australia

Police are investigating two suspicious fires lit in close proximity in North Adelaide this morning.

About 2.15am Wednesday 6 May police and MFS were called to Ward Street after a brush fence was set alight on the northern side of the street; followed soon after by a bin fire lit in the underground car park area of a business on the southern side of the street.

Fire crews brought the blaze under control but extensive damage was caused to the building when it spread to air-conditioning units.

Both fires have been deemed as suspicious and Eastern District Detectives along with Fire Cause Investigators are at the scene.
