Arson Squad charge man after Lockridge fire

Arson Squad detectives have charged a 37-year-old man after their investigation into a fire at a home located on Grogan Place in Lockridge.

It is alleged around 5.15pm on Friday 19 February 2021, the man smashed a front window of the duplex before setting fire to furniture in the lounge room. The fire caused an estimated $150,000 damage to the home.

The 37-year-old man from Lockridge has been charged with Criminal Damage by Fire and is due to appear in the Perth Magistrates Court today, 21 February 2021.
