Art Beyond Waste

Explore the creative ways we can transform waste into inspiring works of art and reduce what we send to landfill.

The Art Beyond Waste exhibition, running from 4 June to 16 July at Miller's Homestead, celebrates the creativity of Knox artists, makers, repairers, crafters, and waste-conscious individuals who have transformed unwanted materials into artworks.

Visit this free exhibition to discover innovative works made from metal scraps, upcycled fabric, clothing, books, picture frames, found plastics, and more. Learn how we can actively and creatively reduce waste at home, rethinking what we throw in the bin.

The exhibition is open to the public from 4 June to 16 July during Miller's Homestead opening hours . No bookings are necessary.

An official opening event is being held on Friday, 13 June. All community members are welcome to attend to meet the artists, enjoy drinks and nibbles, and explore the artworks on display. Prizes will be awarded to participating artists. Our Waste Education Officer will also be on hand to chat and provide information about reducing waste at home.

We hope you'll take the opportunity to visit this unique and thought-provoking event.
