Assault with intent to rob at Rockingham

Rockingham Detectives are investigating an Assault with Intent to Rob incident that occurred at the underpass beneath Read Street, Rockingham on Friday, 25 September 2020.

Around 3.30pm the victim, a teenage boy, was walking towards the shopping centre situated on Council Avenue, when he was stopped by three boys riding push bikes. The youths demanded property before assaulting the victim.

The victim managed to break free and run towards the shopping centre. He received minor injuries.

The three youths are described as fair skinned, riding mountain bikes, aged between 12 – 16 years, wearing dark coloured tops.

Rockingham Detectives would like to speak to anyone who may have witnessed the assault or has mobile footage of the incident.
