Assistant Secretary of State for International Organization Affairs Michele Sison will travel to Montreal, Canada, February 8-9. During her trip, Assistant Secretary Sison will meet with senior leadership of the International Civil Aviation Organization (ICAO) as well as diplomatic counterparts to discuss key U.S. and global civil aviation priorities. Her conversations will cover ICAO efforts to improve the safety, security, and sustainability of international civil aviation; recent successes in agreements to reduce emissions from international aviation; and ICAO's organizational transformation initiatives.
