The Baylor College of Medicine Board of Trustees Wednesday added two new trustees, Fred Seigel of Beacon Capital Partners and Gina A. Luna of Genesis Park Capital Partners, LP.
Seigel is the president & CEO of Beacon Capital Partners and is based in Boston. Before joining Beacon in 2001, he served as managing director of Latona Associates, Inc., a private merchant bank, and previously served as president and director of Energy Capital Partners, a company he founded.
Luna, a veteran investor and civic leader, is a founding partner of GP Capital, a private credit/equity fund focused on lower middle-market companies. She is currently a board member of two public companies, Roku, Inc., a streaming service, and Tetra Technologies, a specialty chemical and energy services company headquartered in The Woodlands. She is also a member of the board of Houston Trust Company and Complete Intelligence.
"The board has selected two talented and visionary trustees who have strong ties to Baylor College of Medicine," said Dr. Paul Klotman, president, CEO and executive dean of the College. "Fred currently serves on the Baylor College of Medicine Advisory Board and Gina previously served as a Baylor College of Medicine trustee."
Luna is a member of the Federal Reserve Bank of Dallas, Houston Branch, and a trustee of the Texas A&M Foundation and The Welch Foundation. She previously served on the St. Luke's Health System board from 2019 to 2023.
Seigel serves on the board of directors for the National Institutes of Health Foundation and the Camp Harbor View, He is also a member of the Real Estate Roundtable.
