Beats, Eats and Neon Nights are coming to Canada Bay 27 April

This May the City of Canada Bay will be hosting a mini festival of light and music in the heart of Five Dock.

Every evening from 4-6 May Fred Kelly Place will come alive with music and dazzling light installations created by artist Carla O'Brien.

"This event is an opportunity for the community to come together to enjoy delicious food, great music and beautiful art that will light up the entire street," City of Canada Bay Mayor Angelo Tsirekas said.

Local legend DJ Pasquale will be spinning tracks while visitors are encouraged to grab a bite from surrounding eateries and wander through the glowing art installations.

As part of the event, visitors also have the chance to win a Ferragosto prize pack worth $200. To enter the competition, simply share your photo from the event on social media with the hashtag #fivedockneonnights.

"I encourage everyone to come down to eat, dance and explore the wonderful entertainment and attractions on offer," Mayor Tsirekas said.
