Beresford Custom Millwork Company Increases Productivity and Efficiency

From: Atlantic Canada Opportunities Agency

Businesses that are more efficient are able to remain competitive, improve their profitability, and grow the local economy. With support from the Government of Canada, Ébénisterie Foxwoods Millwork is modifying its production line to improve its overall efficiency.

The project will enable the company to respond to increasing demand for large orders and improve its delivery times, while maintaining top-quality customer service. The Government of Canada, through the Atlantic Canada Opportunities Agency (ACOA), provided a repayable contribution of $62,500 for this project.

Serge Cormier, Member of Parliament for Acadie-Bathurst, on behalf of the Honourable Navdeep Bains, Minister of Innovation, Science and Economic Development and Minister responsible for ACOA, announced this funding today.

The Government of Canada is making smart investments to help small and medium-sized businesses start-up, expand, and modernize. Support for this project is one way the Government of Canada is working to build on the objectives of the Innovation and Skills Plan, a multi-year strategy to create well-paying jobs for the middle class and those working hard to join it.
