Boulder incident

Kalgoorlie Detectives are investigating the indecent assault of a female in Boulder on Friday, 11 March 2022.

Around 5.20pm, the 17-year-old girl was walking along Thompson Street when near the intersection of King Street, a man riding a black mountain bike stopped her to ask the time.

The man attempted to keep her engaged in conversation before dropping the bike and indecently assaulting her. The victim fought him off and ran away.

The offender is described as tanned skinned, in his 20's, around 183cm tall with a slim build, short light brown hair and was clean shaven.

He was wearing black tracksuit pants with white writing along the sides and a black t-shirt with a white motif. He may have had small bag on his waist.

The mountain bike was an older model with a skinny frame. The man had been riding it hands free.
