After taking the world by storm, the Brickman® Wonders of the World exhibition will launch in Darwin this weekend at the Darwin Convention Centre.

Proudly delivered by the Finocchiaro CLP Government, the exhibition will run from 23 May to 19 July, just in time for the school holidays.

Minister for Tourism and Hospitality and Minister for Major Events, Marie-Clare Boothby said the event delivers on the Government's commitment to restore the Territory lifestyle.

"We said that we would restore our unique lifestyle and we're delivering on that commitment with another one-of-a-kind event for Territory families - on the back of a huge start to the Dry."

"Families can make a day of it: see the exhibition, then head to the Darwin Waterfront to cool off with a swim, relax in the parklands or enjoy the cafes and restaurants," Minister Boothby said.

"And this weekend particularly, you can see the LEGO® Gardens of Babylon before exploring our very own George Brown Darwin Botanic Gardens as they celebrate their Open Day."

Brickman® Wonders of the World includes dedicated build zones, collaborative projects, and opportunities for visitors to race LEGO® vehicles down custom ramps.

The exhibition features more than 45 creations which reimagine some of the world's most iconic landmarks, including The Great Barrier Reef.

LEGO® Certified director, Ryan 'Brickman' McNaught said the team was thrilled to bring the exhibition to Darwin for the first time.

"We are incredibly excited to bring this extraordinary exhibition to Darwin for the very first time," Mr McNaught said.

"Wonders of the World is about more than just looking at models; it's about shared experiences and sparking creativity.

"We can't wait to see what the people of Darwin build when they visit us at the Convention Centre."

Minister Boothby said strong events deliver real benefits for the community and economy.

"When our events calendar is strong, our hotels are full, our cafes are busy, and everyone benefits," she said.

"We're rebuilding the economy and restoring our lifestyle, and this is just the beginning."

The exhibition runs from 23 May to 19 July 2026 at the Darwin Convention Centre, with tickets available through Ticketek here.
