Bunjil Place's email marketing service provider, WordFly, has confirmed that subscribers of the Bunjil Place email newsletter were not impacted by the recent security incident affecting their service.
In July, Council were made aware that WordFly had been the victim of a cyber security attack and that the name and email addresses of subscribers to the Bunjil Place e-newsletter may have been impacted.
As a precautionary measure, we notified all Bunjil Place e-newsletter subscribers of the possibility that their names and email addresses may have been impacted.
WordFly has now confirmed that Bunjil Place subscriber data was not affected by the security breach and has advised that they have put additional security measures in place to better protect customer data.
Council is continuing to review its own policies and processes in light of this incident and assures residents that security of your personal information is of utmost importance to us.
