Burglary and theft of bikes in Ashwood

Monash Crime Investigation Unit detectives are seeking the public's assistance to identify a suspect for a burglary and theft in Ashwood on Sunday 27 September.

It is believed two men were walking along Ashwood Drive about 6.45pm, when they helped themselves to two bikes from the garage of a home, before riding away.

One of the men has been identified by police, however the second man's identity remains unknown.

The man is described as Caucasian in appearance, 18-25 years old wearing black glasses, a black cap and jumper with white writing on the arms and white Nike runners.

Investigators have released CCTV footage and images of a man that may be able to assist them with their enquires.
