Australia has a culturally and linguistically diverse (CALD) population, with many people born overseas and originating from non-English speaking countries. Access to CALD resources is critical to minimise the barriers that some communities face in making informed medical treatment decisions and receiving patient-centred care.

"All Australians, no matter their background, should be empowered to make their own medical treatment decisions. We hope that these translated resources will help start important conversations in our CALD communities and encourage more people to plan for their future health care," said Linda Nolte, Program Director of Advance Care Planning Australia.
