Call for Witnesses - Aggravated Assault - Alice Springs

Northern Territory Police are calling for witnesses in relation to an alleged assault on a 30-year-old male in Alice Springs last night.

The incident is believed to have occurred on the bank of Todd River on Leichardt Terrace, near the Alice Springs Library. The male was in the car park on the northern side of the Stott Terrace Bridge when a white four-wheel-drive has pulled into the car park around 7:30pm, Northern Territory Police say

It is believed that the assault occurred shortly after and the male received multiple injuries. He was taken to Alice Springs Hospital for treatment.

Police are asking anyone who witnessed the incident or was in the vicinity at the time to please contact them on 131 444, or anonymously via Crime Stoppers.
