Live n' Local 2026 has officially started its six-week celebration of sound, creativity and community connection in Camden.

Running every Saturday until 13 June, the vibrant program will transform Camden into a living stage, with live performances every Saturday across Camden Town Centre; an activation of designated busking sites to enliven the streets; and a mix of indoor and outdoor pop-up performances.

This year's Live n' Local program builds towards a global moment, Make Music Day, where Camden joins cities around the world in celebrating the power of music on Sunday 21 June. The day will feature a full program of performances, spontaneous musical moments and a buzzing street culture as local artists take centre stage.

Mayor of Camden, Cr Therese Fedeli, said Camden Council was committed to supporting local musicians and performers.

"Live n' Local is such a terrific way for Council to offer accessible, paid and high-visibility opportunities for local performers to share their craft," she said.

"From stripped-back acoustic sets and emerging artists to seasoned performers, the program is inviting our community to experience live music in unexpected places.

"Whether you're a dedicated music lover, a curious passer-by or a passionate supporter of local talent, I'm encouraging everyone to explore Camden through sound. Wander the streets, follow the music and discover the magic of Live n' Local."
