CCTV of man missing from Randwick released as police reappeal for information

Police are re-appealing for public assistance and have released CCTV of a man missing from Sydney's east.

Robert Duncan, aged 78, was last seen at a home on Alison Road, Randwick, on Wednesday 14 April 2021.

He was reported missing to police on Monday (26 April 2021), when the building manager discovered he hadn't returned to his home.

Police from Eastern Beaches Police Area Command commenced inquiries to locate Robert, which are continuing.

Serious concerns are held for his welfare as he is unable to be contacted and has not accessed his bank accounts.

Eastern Beaches Police Area Command Crime Manager, Detective Inspector Rodney Pistola says his behaviour is out of character and is calling on anyone with information to come forward.

"By releasing CCTV, we hope someone in the community may recognise Robert," Det Insp Pistola said.

"Any information – no matter how small – could be the missing piece of the puzzle police need to locate him."

Robert is described as being of Caucasian appearance, approximately 165cm tall, with a slim build and white hair. He was last seen wearing a dark-coloured coat.

Anyone who sees Robert or believes they may know his whereabouts, is urged to contact investigators.

Anyone with information about this incident is urged to contact Crime Stoppers: 1800 333 000 or https://nsw.crimestoppers.com.au. Information is treated in strict confidence. The public is reminded not to report information via NSW Police social media pages.
