Charges laid over act of indecency, NSW

Police have charged a man over an alleged act of indecency in a public toilet in the Southern Highlands yesterday, NSW Police say.

About 4.30pm (Wednesday 22 August 2018), a 15-year-old boy entered a public toilet block in a park on Argyle Street, Moss Vale.

Police will allege an 82-year-old man was in a cubicle next to the one occupied by the boy, when he committed an act of indecency.

Officers from The Hume Police District were notified and commenced an investigation.

A man was arrested at the scene and taken to Southern Highlands Police Station.

He was charged with wilful and obscene exposure in public place and granted conditional bail to appear before Moss Vale Local Court on Tuesday 4 September 2018.
