City Of Casey Launches Discounted Cat Desexing Program

The City of Casey is excited to announce the launch of its Discounted Cat Desexing Program, offering residents a 50% discount on desexing services for their cats.

This initiative, run through the National Desexing Network, aims to promote responsible pet ownership and improve the health and well-being of cats in the community.

Desexing not only prevents unwanted pregnancies but also offers numerous health benefits for cats, including reducing the risk of certain diseases and health issues, decreasing the desire to roam, which lowers the chance of accidents and minimising aggression and the likelihood of fighting.

City of Casey Chair of Administrators Noelene Duff PSM said Council is thrilled to offer this program to its residents.

"Desexing is a crucial part of responsible pet ownership, and we hope this initiative will make it more accessible for everyone in our community," Noelene said.

Eligible residents who are concession card holders can apply for a voucher to receive the discount at participating veterinary clinics within the City of Casey. In addition to the discounted desexing services, cats participating in the program will also receive free microchipping.

If you own a furry feline and live in the City of Casey, don't miss out on this opportunity.
