Community invited to new cultural centre

Wondering what's inside the new cultural centre? Dreaming of all the performances that may be held there? The books to be read, the galleries and exhibitions that may allow your mind to wander away in?

Bass Coast Shire Council is thrilled to announce the opening of the new cultural centre in Cowes. To celebrate, Council will be holding a sneak-peak preview event to launch the new program season on Wednesday, 1 November 2023.

The program launch event will feature an exciting preview of upcoming performances as well as explorations of this space including a new library, gallery and much more. This is an incredible opportunity to discover what the new cultural centre in Cowes has to offer.

"We would love to be able to invite everyone to attend, but with limited seating this is just not possible, so we've opened a ballot where you can express your interest and tickets will be allocated at random." said Mayor, Cr Michael Whelan.

"We encourage all members of our community to enter the upcoming ballot to enjoy an evening of celebration, entertainment and inspiration."

Ballot entries are limited to one per-person and tickets will be allocated one per-person.

Ballot entries close at 5.00pm on Friday, 20 October.

Entrants to the ballet will be notified by email of the outcome of your interest by Tuesday, 24 October 2023.
