Georges River Council is inviting our local community to share their views through the Arts and Culture Survey. Community feedback will help shape the future of arts and culture across the Georges River area. It will also inform the review of Council's current cultural strategy, Create Georges River.
Council wants to hear from everyone, including people who do not currently attend Council events or cultural venues. Responses will help us understand what our community values, how they take part in arts and culture, what barriers they face and what they would like to see in the future.
Arts and Culture can include:
-
Festivals.
-
Music.
-
Dance.
-
Exhibitions.
-
Public Art.
-
Local history.
-
Cultural traditions.
-
Creative activities.
Georges River Council Mayor Elise Borg said that arts and culture are pivotal in the Georges River community.
"Everyone experiences arts and culture differently, and we want to hear those perspectives," Mayor Borg said.
"Community feedback helps us understand what activities, events, spaces and opportunities you would like in the future, and ensures future improvements reflect local needs and priorities."
