Council seeks tenders for sewer main upgrades

Orange City Council is seeking Tenders from appropriately experienced contractors to upgrade sewer mains in 3 locations in Orange.

Orange City Council has identified three gravity sewer main areas that require upgrading due to further development and population growth, as well as providing a level of redundancy for any future developments that may impact the existing networks.

These works will take place in three locations within Orange NSW:

Pineridge Drive

These works will require the upsizing of the existing 150mm UPVC sewer main to 225mm using PN12.5 280mm OD PE pipe (cream stripe). The existing main is approximately 114m in length. This section of main will also require the rehabilitation of three existing sewer manholes.

NDR and Burrendong Way

These works will require the upsizing of the existing 150mm UPVC sewer main to 225mm using PN12.5 280mm OD PE pipe (cream stripe). The existing main is approximately 519m in length. This section of main will also require the rehabilitation of 13 existing sewer manholes.

Morseby Street

These works will require the upsizing of the existing 100mm VC sewer main to 150mm PN12.5 180mm OD PE pipe (cream stripe). The existing main is approximately 432m in length. This section of main will also require the rehabilitation of seven existing sewer manholes, as well as the reconnection of 27 residential connections, with junctions to be installed.
