Dangerous driving incident at Murgon

Police have charged a 58-year-old Murgon man following an incident on Kerbs Street on Thursday, December 21.

It is alleged that around 9am the man failed to stop his vehicle following a direction by detectives, before he rammed an unmarked police vehicle.

The man's vehicle was severely damaged and he was transported to hospital for treatment to non-life threatening injuries.

Two female officers were treated for minor injuries.

The 58-year-old man was charged with acts intended to cause grievous bodily harm, dangerous operation of a motor vehicle and evade police.

The man is due to reappear in the Toowoomba Magistrates Court on February 21.
