City of Darwin is gearing up for another exciting school holiday season, with a full calendar of free activities and workshops running from Friday 20 June through to Saturday 12 July.
Designed for children, teens and families, the June/July 2025 school holiday program offers a wide range of engaging, educational and active experiences across Darwin's libraries, community centres and outdoor spaces.
Lord Mayor Kon Vatskalis said the program was created to give young people the opportunity to connect, learn new skills and enjoy their break in a welcoming and safe environment.
"We know how important it is for kids and families to have access to fun and meaningful activities during the holidays," Mr Vatskalis said.
"Our program is packed with something for everyone, whether your child enjoys arts and crafts, gaming, storytelling, science or just having fun with friends."
Some of the program highlights include creative sessions such as making dreamcatchers, bracelets and loom bands, gaming tournaments, Gaming After Dark and GEEK Up, and the STEAM Zone for science, tech and engineering fun.
With a fresh lineup of activities each day, the program encourages young people to move, build, create and connect, all at no cost to families.
City of Darwin encourages parents, caregivers and young people to check out the full program online and plan their school holiday adventure.
All activities are free and open to the public.
