On May 21, 2020, William Foote, an inmate from Bath Institution died while in our custody of apparent natural causes.
At the time of his death, Mr. Foote had been serving a 5 year sentence since March 6, 2019, for Aggravated Assault and Break and Enter with Intent.
The inmate's next of kin have been notified of his death. The Correctional Service of Canada (CSC) extends its condolences to the family.
As in all cases involving the death of an inmate, Correctional Service Canada (CSC) will review the circumstances. CSC policy requires that the police and the coroner be notified.
