Dr Ryan, who came to parliament as part of the 'teal' movement of independents in 2022, discusses her background in healthcare as a paediatric neurologist, medical researcher, and head of neurology at the Royal Children's Hospital.
As a politician Dr Ryan is especially concerned with the evidence-based health need to advocate for action on climate change.
