CLEVELAND, Ohio (September 14, 2026)—The Menopause Society is honored to announce that former First Lady of the United States and Chair of the Women's Health Network at the Milken Institute, Dr. Jill Biden, will serve as the keynote speaker on Thursday, October 22, 2026, during the Society's Annual Meeting in San Diego, California.
The discussion, Bridging the Gaps in Women's Health: A Conversation with Dr. Jill Biden, will explore the history of women's health research, examine the current state of women's health, and consider what the future may hold.
The Women's Health Network at the Milken Institute drives innovation by providing resources and promoting collaboration among key stakeholders, including research institutions, start-ups and entrepreneurs, corporations and businesses, investors, payers, policymakers, patient and community organizations, health systems, and philanthropists. It facilitates engagement and financing across public and private sectors to optimize access to research and development, infrastructure, and products and services for women by elevating existing and new efforts across the women's health ecosystem.
"Dr. Jill Biden has been a powerful advocate for ensuring that women's health receives the attention, investment, and innovation it deserves. We are honored to welcome her to our Annual Meeting and look forward to a meaningful conversation about how we can work together to close longstanding gaps in women's health research, education, and care," says Dr. Faubion.
