Now, here we'll see a cold front moving through south-western parts of Western Australia early on tomorrow morning. That is going to bring showers, thunderstorms and even some damaging wind gusts to that part of the country. In the south-east, very different conditions. We're going to see a few mornings of foggy conditions and then warming up into mild to warm, sunny days. Up the east coast tomorrow, we still see a few isolated showers, and through the north, showers and thunderstorms in the Top End.
So let's take a look now at each state, and we'll start in Queensland, which will have some isolated coastal showers, tending scattered north of about Ingham. And we could even see some thunderstorms through the far north of the state. However, through the interior and southern parts, it's looking dry and sunny. Brisbane will see a partly cloudy day, 27 °C, and just a slight chance of seeing one of those isolated coastal showers.
Into New South Wales, which will see a mostly settled start to the day. We'll see some morning fog and frost about the ranges. In the south-easterly flow, we do see isolated coastal showers all the way up the New South Wales coast. That does include Sydney, which tomorrow will see a top of 22 °C. Further inland though, it's remaining dry and settled. Canberra is going to have a very cold start to the day. We could even see some morning frost. However, it will warm up to a top of 21 °C.
Through Victoria, a high pressure ridge is going to bring quite a few settled days, so tomorrow we're going to have areas of fog and we may even see some areas of smoke haze due to ongoing fuel reduction burns. So Melbourne tomorrow, after maybe seeing some morning fog, will warm up to 25 °C. Now that is the start of quite a few days of warmer than average April conditions, so warm days will take us out to the end of the working week. Tasmania will also be mostly settled. We'll see some morning fog and frost inland.
There are a couple of areas which could still see some isolated showers through Tasmania in the north and also about the east coast. Hobart is going to see a cloudy day and a top of 19 °C.
South Australia will be mostly warm and sunny. Temperatures in the north will reach 30 °C and quite similar further south. Now that is showing us that these temperatures through southern South Australia are quite a few degrees above average for this time of year. That includes for Adelaide, which will see 28 °C and a partly cloudy day. Now, although it is looking mostly settled through South Australia, we have a trough passing through in the evening, which could bring some isolated showers and storms to the far south-west just later in that evening period.
In Western Australia tomorrow, this strong cold front will be moving through the far south-west in the early morning period. That is going to bring showers and thunderstorms and damaging wind gusts, particularly to the far south-west of the state. Now those conditions are going to ease later on Tuesday morning. But even later in the day on Tuesday, there is still a possibility of some showers and thunderstorms further east, extending from the south interior and down into the Eucla area. Behind that morning cold front though, we are seeing quite cool conditions through the far south-west of the state, including for Perth. So Perth may see a couple of those very early morning showers, and then will reach just 19 °C tomorrow.
In northern Australia, tropical moisture will continue to bring showers and thunderstorms to the Top End, with those showers extending further south, north of about Elliott. Now, those showers and thunderstorms are likely to impact the Darwin area tomorrow. Darwin will see showers increasing throughout the day and may even see a possible storm. It will see a top of 33 °C. Further south though, we can see this will be dry and sunny through central Australia, and Alice Springs will see 28 °C.
