Emergency access to Mount Pleasant Standpipe

Emergency access to Mount Pleasant Standpipe

Council can confirm the Mount Pleasant standpipe has been unlocked since Friday to ensure essential water access during the extreme weather conditions we are currently experiencing.

We are continuing to provide significant support and resources to the Hiller and Cudlee Creek communities during the ongoing fire emergency situation, and will continue to do so over the coming days. Our crews are working hard clearning roads for emergency services and to assist residents to return to their homes.

Community are reminded to continue to monitor https://www.cfs.sa.gov.au/site/home.jsp or tune to ABC Adelaide 891 radio for rolling updates on the fire emergency situation.

Council extends its deepest sympathy to all affected by the fires.
