Northern Territory Police are investigating the death of a man in Tennant Creek earlier today.
The 47-year-old man was riding a motorcycle on Savieri Road when he came off it, just before 1pm. He was not wearing a helmet at the time of the incident.
Police and emergency service workers attended and attempted to resuscitate the man, however he died at the scene.
Officers of the Northern Territory Police Major Crash Investigations Unit will travel from Alice Springs to Tennant Creek to investigate the circumstances surrounding the incident, today.
