Westgate Highway Patrol are investigating following a fatal collision between a car and a motorcycle in Point Cook last month.
It's believed the vehicles collided on Saltwater Promenade on Sunday, 24 April just after 7pm.
The motorcyclist, a 29-year-old Point Cook man, was taken to hospital in a critical condition, but sadly passed away later in hospital on Wednesday, 4 May.
The female driver of the car, a 56-year-old Point Cook woman, was not injured and is assisting police with their enquiries.
