Come and celebrate the Final Community Nursery Gala Day on Saturday 11 October from 9am to 1pm🌱
This will be your last chance for 2025 to discover what wonderful indigenous plants can do to help turn your garden into a climate tolerant and wildlife friendly space.
There will also be a free Gardens for Wildlife workshop from 11am-12:30pm, on creating your own backyard reptile habitat, including a demonstration of how to set up the ideal 'lizard lounge'. Presented by naturalist, environmental educator and zoological consultant, David De Angelis, the workshop will explore how to create areas preferred by those species for basking, shelter, foraging and dispersing.
Buy stock, enjoy a free sausage sizzle and learn more about indigenous plants with the help of our knowledgeable and passionate nursery volunteers.
A reminder that the Bayside Community Nursery will close its doors for public sales on Thursday 30 October to focus on seed collection, propagating and growing new plants, and will reopen in 2026.
