Logan City Council continues to support residents and businesses as floodwaters move through City of Logan today.
Moderate flooding has occurred in lower sections of the Logan River. Water levels are no longer rising in the Albert River.
At Waterford, the Logan River was predicted to peak later today at 7 metres, below the Bureau of Meteorology's 'moderate' flood level of 7.5 metres.
At Logan River Parklands in Beenleigh, water levels are rising with a 'moderate' peak (4 metres) predicted later this evening.
Flooded roads in City of Logan today included Cusack Lane, Jimboomba; Schmitt Rd, Logan Reserve; Chambers Flat Rd, Chambers Flat; Teviot Rd, Jimboomba; Logan Reserve Rd, Waterford; Greenbank Rd, North Maclean and Camp Cable Rd, Jimboomba.
Mt Lindesay Highway is open but impacted in the Jimboomba area with some lanes closed.

Boxer Avenue, Shailer Park remains closed after being extensively damaged earlier this week.
Council continues to work with residents impacted by the road closure. Pumping of water out of a broken stormwater pipe beneath the street began today to allow the damage to be inspected safely.
Logan SES has completed 224 jobs since midnight Sunday.
Council yesterday doorknocked 431 properties in vulnerable areas near the Logan and Albert rivers. Further checks were made today to ensure impacted residents were stocked with essentials
