The Mid West economy is set for a major economic and employment boost thanks to the release of more than 130 hectares of heavy industrial land within DevelopmentWA's Narngulu General Industrial Area.
DevelopmentWA is seeking expression of interest (EOI) proposals from a range of industries, investors and operators for the strategically located land.
Proponents will have the flexibility to put forward bids on any parcels of land or seek proposals for lot sizes tailored to their requirements, within the 130.87 hectares.
Through this EOI process, DevelopmentWA is seeking proponents who can deliver projects that maximise the potential of the land and contribute to the long-term growth of the region.
Located approximately 12 kilometres south-east of Geraldton, the Narngulu General Industrial Area is a well-established industrial hub supporting manufacturing, logistics, resource processing and storage.
The sites are positioned close to major transport infrastructure, including regional road networks, Geraldton Airport and an existing rail corridor connecting to Geraldton Port.
Proponents will be invited to submit proposals outlining their development vision, including land use, investment value, delivery timeframe and potential employment outcomes.
The Cook Labor Government is continuing to diversify the State's economy and ensure that Western Australia continues to the best place to get a quality job.
