Girrawheen Serious Motorcycle Crash

Officers from the Major Crash Investigation Section are investigating a serious crash which occurred in Girrawheen on Wednesday, 6 March 2024.

About 2.35pm, a blue off-road motorcycle and a yellow Suzuki off-road motorcycle were travelling along Balgonie Avenue in Girrawheen when the rider of the yellow Suzuki motorcycle lost control of his motorcycle and collided with a parked Ford Falcon sedan.

The 16-year-old male rider of the Suzuki motorcycle sustained minor injuries in the crash. The pillion passenger, a 17-year-old male, sustained critical injuries in the crash.

The rider and pillion passenger were conveyed by ambulance to Royal Perth Hospital for medical treatment.
