Northern Territory Major Events Company

Fasten your seatbelt - tickets for the Darwin Supercars round on 8-9 August 2020 are on general sale today and, with limited tickets available, Territorians are encouraged to buy theirs now!

In line with the event's COVID-19 Safety Plan, 4,500 tickets are available per day. People who had purchased a ticket for the original event planned for July have had the last 48 hours to grab a ticket for the new date, and what's left is now on sale to the general public.

The event will look a little different this year as a result of COVID-19 precautions, but there will be plenty of Supercars action for fans to enjoy.

Merchandise stalls, selected food and drink operators, and the transporter convoy will all be part of this year's Supercars, with some tweaks to their usual format. Concerts, support categories, pit paddock access and hospitality packages are not viable this year.

Tickets are just $35 for a one-day pass and $65 for a two-day pass. Children aged 13 and under are free with a paying adult. Tickets for the Monster Platform cost $120. To secure your spot trackside, visit www.darwinsupercars.com.au

As stated by NT Major Events Company CEO, Tim Watsford:

"This has been a unique year so far, and this will be a unique version of Supercars! We can't wait to see all the action as the teams battle it out at this incredible event.

"Usually we welcome around 36,000 people to Hidden Valley. This year spots are limited, which makes it even more special.

"It also means you can't do the Territorian thing and leave buying tickets to the last minute. If you want to catch all the action on the track, grab your ticket to this one-off version of the Supercars today."
