Greymouth Police partner with local businesses for road safety

Greymouth Police are partnering with local businesses to promote child restraints in cars this week.

Local businesses include A to Z Preschool, Design Windows West Coast, West Coast DHB, The Warehouse and Greymouth Columbus Café.

Acting Prevention Sergeant Mat Wood says Police will set up three child restraint education checkpoints.

"We have the help of a child seat expert to do free checks on child restraints and seats in vehicle, and some pamphlets and information to give to parents," says Sergeant Wood.
