Hazelmere Fatal Crash

Officers from the Major Crash Investigation Section are seeking information regarding a fatal crash in Hazelmere yesterday, Sunday 6 November 2022.
About 11:25am, a Ducati motorcycle and a blue Mazda 2 hatch were travelling south on Roe Highway, heading towards the intersection of the Great Eastern Highway Bypass. The two vehicles collided with each other on approach to the intersection.
Traffic at the intersection had slowed to give way to a police vehicle, which was being driven under emergency conditions, just prior to the crash.
The 47-year-old female rider of the motorcycle was taken by St John WA to Royal Perth Hospital where, tragically, she died a short time later.
The 39-year-old female driver of the Mazda was not injured.
