Perth Heat will take to the field tonight with a new look and a renewed purpose - promoting healthy, active living for all Western Australians.
Previously known as the 'Alcohol. Think Again Perth Heat', the team has renewed their partnership with Healthway ahead of the 2025/26 baseball season, putting a stronger focus on health, wellbeing, and family-friendly fun in the game.
With the support of the Cook Government, the rebranded Healthway Perth Heat will pitch healthy active lifestyles and community connection by:
- increasing access to healthy food and drink options at games;
- role-modelling healthy behaviours through professional players and targeted education strategies;
- raising awareness about the link between healthy eating, performance and wellbeing through engagement at Perth Heat games and events; and
- creating safer, family-friendly environments by limiting alcohol promotion, raising awareness of alcohol-related harm, and strengthening alcohol-free zones at games, with the support of the Alcohol and Drug Foundation.
This dynamic partnership will foster a vibrant, family-friendly atmosphere at NSR Hire Ballpark in Thornlie, where fans of all ages can enjoy the game in a supportive environment.
Healthway has been a long-term supporter of the Perth Heat, investing more than $1.6 million since 1991 to promote various health messages.
