The sister of a man murdered in the state’s Central West last year has joined police in their appeal for anyone with information to come forward, NSW Police say.
Dawn Brodie is urging anyone with information about the death of her brother Reggie to come forward as the smallest piece of information may help the investigation, said Ms Brodie.
"There are people out there that have more information, so please come forward. You are not dobbing in a mate; you are helping me find out what happened to my brother."
"I want to thank Bathurst Police, in particular, the investigators, especially Detective Graham for everything they have done to help. I miss him every day and I talk to him everyday" Ms Brodie said.
Reginald Mullaly, aged 69, was found at 10am on 20 September 2015 under the Denison Bridge on the Great Western Highway at Bathurst, with stab wounds to his chest and several unexplained injuries.
Strike Force Yenna was established by detectives attached to Chifley Local Area Command with the assistance of State Crime Command’s Homicide Squad to investigate the murder and in the days following the discovery of Mr Mullaly’s body, police received a substantial amount of information from callers to Crime Stopers.
