Major Crash Investigation Section officers are seeking information regarding a fatal crash in Hester Brook, north of Bridgetown, today, Saturday 23 April 2022.
About 9.55am a Ford Maverick being driven south on South Western Highway and a Holden Commodore, also travelling south on South Western Highway, were involved in a collision near Forest Park Avenue.
The 18-year-old male driver of the Ford Maverick died from his injuries at the scene. The 18-year-old female passenger of the Ford Maverick was flown to Royal Perth Hospital by the RAC Rescue helicopter for treatment of her serious injuries.
