Our next Home Composting Workshop will be held Wednesday 2 November, 9am-12noon.
Learn the basics of setting up a successful compost system in your own home.
Residents of the Kiama Municipality can come along to this hands on and interactive workshop to learn all about the science of composing. Learn some great tips for recycling all your household food and garden organic waste into compost for your garden and see composing systems in action. The workshop will cover the traditional compost bins and worm farms and the Bokashi Composting System, an innovative eco-friendly composting system designed to be used in the kitchen.
The workshop is free and participants will receive a voucher to redeem one composting equipment of your choice per household (compost bin, worm far or bokashi bucket) through Council.
Places are limited and bookings are essential. Registrations open 12 October, 2022.
