Hughenden BeefUp Forum to offer knowledge and networking for northern beef producers

The Hughenden BeefUp Forum is coming to the Diggers Centre on Friday 23 June 2023. This is a perfect opportunity for producers, service providers and advisors to connect, learn and share knowledge on the latest research and technologies in the cattle industry.

MLA Program Manager, Adoption, Sally Leigo, will be attending the event and said the Hughenden BeefUp Forum provides an excellent opportunity for producers to connect with fellow producers and industry experts, hear about the latest research and market trends, and gain new ideas for improving their business.

"The full-day program includes informative and interactive sessions that cover topics including market insights, ag-tech snapshots, grazing land management strategies, understanding carbon, and the latest in breeding, genetics, and genomics," Sally said.

"The program has been carefully designed by the local Regional Beef Research Committee to offer attendees a unique opportunity to explore and address local production challenges and issues faced by producers. With a variety of perspectives, participants can gain valuable insights and next steps that will enable them to action improvements for their business."

The event will conclude with a delicious BBQ dinner, providing a relaxed atmosphere for further networking and discussion. The cost for MLA members is $25 and non-members is $50, which includes morning and afternoon tea, lunch and dinner.
