Images released after nurse's car stolen from hospital

Police are investigating the theft of a nurse's car while she was working at a Fitzroy hospital on 21 December.

Investigators have been told a man entered a staff area at the Victoria Parade hospital and stole a handbag containing the victim's car key about 7.10pm.

Shortly later, the man entered the staff car park under the hospital where he stole the victims' vehicle.

It was located by police in Ballarat on Christmas day.

Investigators have released images of a man that may be able to assist with their enquiries.

The offender is perceived to be Caucasian, aged between 30-40 years old, wearing a face mask, grey and red Kansas City baseball cap, a black Nike hoodie with fluoro writing, a blue Adidas satchel bag, what appears to be a black backpack, black shorts, blue Adidas sneakers and carrying black sunglasses.
