Imperial, EU Partners Launch MSc in Global Economic Change

Imperial College Business School has teamed up with EDHEC Business School (Paris) and ESMT Berlin to offer a new three year Master's degree.

Starting in Autumn 2024, the new Global Economic Transformation & Technology (GETT) Europe Master's Degree will allow participants to study across the partner business schools' campuses in Paris, Berlin and London and gain a global perspective of sustainable development and technology innovation. Students will have the opportunity to study courses from the partner institutions across a variety of disciplines including Risk Modeling, Predictive Analysis, AI and Society, Design Thinking for Innovation and Impact, and Technology and Innovation Management.

The GETT Europe's curriculum will introduce students to the new technologies shaping the world of business and society, whilst teaching them about the environmental challenges that threaten that future. It will provide them with the strategic and managerial skills needed to pilot global projects and lead multicultural teams – skills which are needed in today's workplace.

"The GETT Europe programme is a bold step forward in our mission to nurture leaders who thrive in a complex, global economy and embrace an entrepreneurial mindset." Leila Guerra Vice Dean (Education)

Students studying on the GETT Europe Master's programme will come to Imperial College Business School in the third year of their degree, where they will join Imperial's existing Master's in Innovation, Entrepreneurship & Management.

Graduates from the programme will also earn a Master's in Management from EDHEC and a Certificate from ESMT Berlin. They will have full access to the learning and career services of each partner institution and the opportunity to build an international network of professional connections from each school's alumni community.

Leila Guerra, Vice Dean (Education) at Imperial College Business School said: "The GETT Europe programme is a bold step forward in our mission to nurture leaders who thrive in a complex, global economy and embrace an entrepreneurial mindset. This partnership exemplifies our commitment to excellence and innovation and offers an immersion into three of Europe's leading cities as well as expanding the frontiers of technology, entrepreneurship and management."

"Whilst at Imperial, students will be empowered to become the next generation of venture founders, venture builders, innovators and investors to create and grow new business opportunities while considering the implications of social and environmental factors."
