Indect Act at Ascot

Belmont Police are investigating after a man committed an indecent act in Ascot on Friday 22 May 2020.

Around 5.45pm, two teenage girls were in a kayak on the Swan River in Ascot. A man was on the shore near the Hilton Grove carpark, when he exposed himself and committed an indecent act within view of the girls. The girls paddled away from the area and notified their parents.

Other people were in the vicinity at the time, possibly fishing, who may have seen the man. Police would like these people to come forward.

The man is described as: Light skinned, 35-45 years of age, medium build and unshaven. He was wearing a blue jumper with a white horizontal stripe on the front, brown shorts and a blue beanie.

A vehicle was seen leaving the Hilton Grove car park around the time of the incident. Police would like to identify the driver and any occupants of a white Toyota Tarago (pictured).

Police would like anyone with information in relation to the incident, anyone with das-cam vision, CCTV or mobile phone vision from the vicinity around the time of the incident are asked to contact Crime Stoppers on 1800 333 000 or report online at www.crimestopperswa.com.au
