Information sought - Mount Lawley assault, WA

Bayswater Police are seeking information regarding an incident that occurred in Mount Lawley on Tuesday, 6 November 2018 in which a man was assaulted.

Around 7.30pm, two men were sitting at a bus stop outside a bar on Beaufort Street, when a man not know to them approached and handed one of the men a wrist-watch. As the victim looked at the watch, the man punched him to the head several times before running away, WA Police say.

The victim, a man in his 30s was rendered unconscious and was conveyed by ambulance to Royal Perth Hospital.

Several people were in the area at the time of the assault and police would like to speak to anyone who saw the incident, particularly the man pictured who they believe can assist them with their inquiries.

Anyone with any information relating to this incident is urged to call Crime Stoppers.
