Police are investigating after an inmate was stabbed at a correctional facility in Sydney's north west today.
Just before 2pm (Friday 23 October 2020), police were called to a correctional centre at Berkshire Park, after reports of an assault.
A 35-year-old man was found suffering stab wounds to the chest and treated at the scene. His injuries are not considered life-threatening.
A 34-year-old man sustained bruising and minor injuries.
They have both been taken to hospital for treatment.
Officers from Nepean Police Area Command established a crime scene and detectives have commenced an investigation into the circumstances surrounding the incident.
