Inquiries continue into assault of female jogger - Lidcombe

Detectives have released CCTV as inquiries continue into the alleged assault of a female jogger at Lidcombe last month.

About 6.50pm on Thursday 29 December 2022, the woman was jogging along Railway Parade when a man grabbed her from behind and assaulted her.

Police were alerted and officers attached to Auburn Police Area Command were notified and commenced an investigation into the incident.

The woman did not suffer any serious injuries.

As inquiries continue, police have released a video of the alleged assault as they believe it can assist with their investigation.

He is described as being of Asian appearance, approximately 20-25 years old, about 170cm tall, of thin build, with black shoulder length hair.

At the time he was wearing a dark coloured t-shirt, dark coloured track pants with white stripe and white shoes.
