Juvenile Arrested After Joondalup Incidents

Joondalup Detectives have charged a juvenile male as a result of their investigation into a series of incidents that occurred within the Joondalup District between 28 February and 15 March 2026.

It will be alleged; the accused indecently assaulted fourteen women as they were walking or jogging in the area of Lake Goollelal and Shepherds Bush Reserve in Kingsley, and along Hepburn Avenue in Hillarys. He was allegedly riding an e bicycle at the time of the incidents.

The 14-year-old male from Darch has been charged with:

• 14 x Unlawful and Indecent Assault

• 4 x No Authority to Drive

• 4 x Used an Unlicensed Vehicle on a Road

He is due to appear before the Joondalup Children's Court on 14 April 2026.

The investigation remains ongoing. Detectives continue to actively review information and conduct further inquiries to ensure all incidents are fully investigated. Police acknowledge the concern these incidents may have caused in the community and reassure residents that additional patrols and investigative resources have been deployed in the affected areas.
